Ultramarine Violet Pigment 10 g – intensive soap color with a blue undertone

With CosmoPure™ Ultramarine Violet – Blue Undertone, soaps and creative DIY projects can be designed in beautiful lavender, lilac, violet and blue-violet shades.

The highly economical Ultramarine pigment CI 77007 has a cool, slightly bluish undertone and is especially well suited as a violet soap color for white and transparent soap bases.

Depending on the soap base used and the dosage, different color intensities can be achieved – from a delicate lavender shade to a rich ultramarine violet.

Particularly beautiful results can be achieved in two-color soaps, layered soaps, swirls and marbled designs.

From delicate lavender to rich ultramarine violet

The final color is significantly influenced by the base used.

With a white soap base, the results tend to be:

• Pastel lavender
• Lilac
• medium violet
• rich blue-violet

In a transparent or less heavily lightened soap base, the pigment may appear significantly more intense.

The color should therefore always be added gradually until the desired shade is achieved.

Ideal for two-color and marbled soaps

Ultramarine Violet is particularly effective in combination with uncolored white soap base.

This can be used, for example, to create:

• white-violet marbling
• lavender swirls
• two-color layered soaps
• color gradients
• floral soaps
• gift soaps
• lavender soaps
• modern DIY soaps

This allows a wide variety of different designs to be created using just one pigment.

Soap color for glycerin soap & melt and pour

The pigment is ideal for individually coloring our white and transparent glycerin soaps as well as melt-and-pour soap bases.

For the most even color distribution possible, it is recommended to first carefully disperse the powder in a small amount of suitable liquid or soap base and then stir it into the total batch.

This helps reduce pigment clumps and achieve a more even color result.

Highly economical color pigment

Mineral pigments are only needed in relatively small amounts.

For soaps, it is recommended to start very sparingly and gradually increase the color intensity.

The amount actually required depends, among other things, on:

• white or transparent soap base
• desired colour intensity
• formulation
• combination with other colours
• desired marbling or layering effect

A 10 g jar therefore goes a long way and is ideal for numerous DIY and soapmaking projects.

CosmoPure™ Ultramarine Violet is labelled as Ultramarine Pigment CI 77007 and, depending on the formulation, can also be used for suitable cosmetic applications.

For cosmetic formulations, the applicable legal requirements, usage concentrations and product specifications must always be observed.

Also suitable for candle decoration & wax projects

The violet shade is also very well suited to decorative candle and wax projects.

For classic wicked candles, however, solid pigment should be used with care, as pigment particles can affect the burning properties and the wick.

For decorative wax surfaces and creative effects, the pigment offers numerous design possibilities.
