The Mating stick for EWK mini boxes was developed by our company specifically for professional use in queen breeding. Each box offers space for two EWK units and is optimally tailored to their dimensions and function. (Delivery without EWK)

• Two separate entrance holes on different sides prevent queens or companion bees from becoming disoriented during the nuptial flight. This clever arrangement reduces confusion and increases the success rate of copulation.
• Precise guide rails inside enable the EWK boxes to be inserted effortlessly. The entrances and exits of the EWKs are exactly aligned with the openings of the mating hive - for a smooth process.
• Each entrance hole area is equipped with one removable approach bee equipped. This can be removed when preparing for transport in order to place several boxes next to each other to save space.

• High quality wood: The body is made of carefully crafted solid wood.
• Aluminum roof: The removable roof is equipped with an aluminum cover that reliably protects the wood from rain, UV radiation and wind.
• Double-walled construction: The roof construction is double-walled and thus ensures improved thermal insulation - ideal conditions for raising and staying bees.

Practical details for everyday use

• Side carry handles make lifting, carrying and stacking easier – both when working on the farm and when transporting them to the loading point.
• Weather-resistant paint: Each mating hive is made with high-quality paint from the Austrian brand EAGLE coated. The coloring not only supports weather resistance, but also helps the bees with orientation.
• Color selection: Available in four colors – Beige, red, yellow and blue.
