CosmoPure™ Yellow Iron Oxide – Yellow Soap Colour with a Natural Earthy Tone

CosmoPure™ Yellow Iron Oxide is a finely milled yellow iron oxide pigment for colouring soap, decorative candle and wax projects, as well as suitable cosmetic applications.

The warm yellow shade appears much more natural and earthy than a bright neon yellow. Depending on the dosage and base, it creates light cream and ochre tones through to rich mustard and golden yellow.

Ideal as a Colour for Soap

This pigment is particularly suitable for:

• glycerine soap & melt-and-pour soap
• yellow and ochre natural soaps
• honey, beeswax and floral designs
• sunflower, autumn and spice soaps
• swirls & marbling
• multi-coloured and layered soaps
• warm beige, cream and pastel shades

In a white soap base, it produces softer yellow and cream shades. A higher dosage can achieve a stronger ochre or mustard yellow tone.

For Candles & Wax

Yellow Iron Oxide can also be used for decorative candle and wax projects. This warm shade works especially harmoniously in combination with natural beeswax and for:

• beeswax candles
• yellow and cream-coloured layers
• wax melts
• reliefs and surface decorations
• autumn and natural designs

If used directly in burning wax, we recommend carrying out your own burn test, as solid pigments may affect burning performance.

For Cosmetics

CI 77492 is a yellow iron oxide pigment and is suitable for corresponding cosmetic formulations, for example for warm yellow, beige and earth tones.

The pigment is very economical to use. For even colour distribution, we recommend first carefully dispersing a small amount in a suitable recipe component and then incorporating it into the total batch.
