Pull rather than push – for fast and controlled uncapping of your honeycombs. This stainless steel uncapping fork works with a reversed pulling motion: the cappings are pulled off instead of being pushed away with forward-facing tines.

The combination of uncapping fork, integrated 6 cm plane and additional 4 cm knife on the front edge makes this tool a versatile helper during honey harvesting. The round wooden handle sits comfortably in the hand and allows precise control.

Uncap quickly and evenly

With even pulling movements, the wax cappings can be removed quickly from the comb surface. The 6 cm wide plane covers several rows of cells at once and supports a smooth workflow during manual uncapping.

Especially when numerous honeycombs need to be prepared for extraction, a movement that is easy to control and repeat is helpful. With a little practice, the fork can be guided over the comb in a steady rhythm. The actual working speed depends on the comb structure and handling.

Protected tine arrangement

In this version, the tips of the tines point inward toward the handle and lie within the metal frame. This means they are less exposed than the forward-projecting tips of many classic uncapping forks.

This design can reduce the risk of accidental puncture injuries caused by unintended contact with the tine tips. The round wooden handle also supports controlled guidance of the tool.

Please note: tines and cutting edges remain sharp. Careful handling is required with this version as well.

Fork, plane and knife in one tool

In addition to the uncapping tines, you have two further working areas available:

• Integrated plane with 6 cm working width: for removing cappings over a broad area.

• Additional knife with 4 cm blade length: on the front edge for precise cutting and finishing work.

This allows you to switch between the working areas during uncapping without having to pick up a separate tool for each finishing step.
