With Melon Honey you can give handmade candles and soaps the scent of ripe, juicy honeydew melon. The fragrance composition is fresh, fruity and pleasantly sweet, reminiscent of the aromatic flesh of a sun-ripened honeydew melon.

The summery honeydew melon fragrance is ideal for handmade soaps, scented candles, wax melts and creative DIY projects. Especially in light, fresh and colourful product ranges, the fruity melon note creates a pleasantly light character.

The fragrance oil is supplied in a 30 ml amber glass bottle with a practical dropper cap. This allows clean and controlled dispensing directly from the bottle – an additional pipette is not required.

Melon Honey has a distinctly fruity honeydew melon character. The fragrance is reminiscent of freshly cut honeydew melon with juicy, sweet flesh and a pleasantly soft sweetness.

Very economical – approx. 1% as a guideline

The honeydew melon fragrance oil is very economical. For many applications, around 1% fragrance oil based on the total quantity is sufficient as a starting point.

Examples:

100 g soap base or wax → approx. 1 g fragrance oil
500 g → approx. 5 g fragrance oil
1 kg → approx. 10 g fragrance oil

The optimal dosage depends on the soap base, type of wax, desired fragrance intensity and formulation used from. For new formulations, we recommend testing a small trial batch first. For candles, a separate burn and scent test should also always be carried out.

Ideal for honeydew melon soaps

Melon Honey is particularly well suited for fragrancing glycerin soap and other suitable melt-and-pour soaps.

For a particularly harmonious look, the honeydew melon fragrance blends beautifully with:

• orange and apricot tones
• light yellow
• cream
• soft green
• transparent soap bases
• two-colour marbling

combined.

This makes it possible to create soaps that visually resemble a freshly cut honeydew melon while also giving them the matching fruity fragrance.

Summery honeydew melon fragrance for candles

Melon Honey is also excellent for scented candles and wax melts. The fruity-sweet honeydew melon fragrance is especially well suited to spring and summer collections and creates a light, pleasant room fragrance character.

As different types of wax absorb fragrance oils differently, the dosage should always be adjusted to the wax used.
